Tour Description

This tour is recommended for visitors who want to see and learn as much as possible about Rome in one day.
If this is the first time you visit Rome, you will be able to see the best things the eternal city can offer you.
The tour normally starts at 7.30 am, an English speaking POSITANOTAXI driver will be waiting for you by the ship, with a sign with your name on it. After about one hour and a half you will arrive in Rome straight at the Colosseum, here you can choose to either visit the monument on your own, or with the help of a tourguide who will be waiting for you at the entrance, with tickets and will give you a tour for about one hour which will allow you to cover the all monument.
After the Colosseum you'll start exploring the city, visiting the Roman Forum, the Palatine hill, Circus Maximus, Capitol hill, The Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps,the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza del Popolo and much more. Also in this case you can choose the option of having a tourguide who can give you information about the monuments and the peculiarities of the city you are visiting.
After lunch, no later than 1.00 PM anyway, you will be ready to visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. For this visit we suggest you be accompanied by a guide, that not only will illustrate the works that you will see, but will also monitor the time of the visit, in order to suggest when's the best time to go back and board your ship in time (5.30 PM).
Our tour is flexible, so you can choose to change your destination or see something in particular.
If there are no time limits restricting your staying in the city, additional extra hours can be requested for your tour.
By booking the internal guide to the Colosseum and/or the Vatican Museums-Sistine Chapel, entrance tickets will be purchased from the guide and must be paid in cash at the end of the visits. In the event that you choose to visit the monuments without the help of the guide, we recommend buying tickets that allow fast entry to the monuments without having to wait in line to enter.
